I am trying to find out how much power people are making on stock ep3 5 speed trans before having problems. Thats all i need to know. Have u made 800 on a stock trans???

 

this is a silly question

you can break it with stock power or 1000hp. it's all in the condition, how you take care of it, and how you drive it.

i will say though if you want to reliably hold that kind of power you need to start looking into an aftermarket gearset.

 

Lol ya i know that but i am really looking to see what people have done power wise on them and still had them last. My car has only 58,000 miles on it and the trans is perfect.

This question is more towards people who take care of their cars and maintain them. I am well over 600hp on 20lbs.

Also what is a good gear set to go with?
