just now getting around to installing the ac bracket mount(has been missing since i bought it). anything special about the nut after the motor mount? will any run of the mill hardware store nut work? is there anything else needed besides new mount and bolts?

Are you referring to the nut for the frame mount? Remember all the bolts and nuts on Hondas are metric thread. Search on Majestic Honda's catalog for the correct bolt/nut.

 

are you talking about the 17mm or 19mm nut that holds the mount in? if so just go to your local junkyard and grab one. it also has a washer on it as well.

 

Those torque mounts don't serve any real purpose and are unnecessary in my opinion. 4 thing strips of rubber aren't going to offer much stability for the engine.

 

Speak for yourself. My Hardrace mounts make everything rock solid.

anyways, dont serve a purpose? im out of ideas and my car bucks violently at light throttle at any speed(big toe on the gas pedal). i figured it was the mount.
