So I pulled the ac compressor out of my car (finally).. Being that my car is swapped to ab series how would I know which compressor I have?... I asked about this a long time ago but there isn't any tags on the compressor identifying what the serial number is.. All I found on it was the engraved numbers which said: 7H13 then directly underneath it it has P7J...If that doesn't identify anything then I guess I could goto auto zone or where ever and compare the bolt patterns to see what it is similar.

I'm also wondering if it would be cheaper and easier to just replacing what's wrong with the compressor itself being that it's sitting off the car... I'm actually surprised that pulling that compressor was as easy as it was... Starting to take notice why enthusiasts love their Honda so much... The ease of working on them is generally pretty simple... I'm enjoying the whole process (side note lol)

Anyways.. What do you all think?

 

what is the stamping on your a/c bracket?

 

That I don't know... Does the ac bracket identify the compressor I'm assuming?.... And is it easier to just replace what's wrong with the compressor or to just get a brand new/used one?

 

The number I put on the first post was the serial number... The actual compressor itself doesn't have a tag on it.
