Default some question for future swap h22 in accord 96 f22b1

hi, I have some question, I really appreciate any help...

the thing is: my accord 96 f22b1 ex automatic...

I have in mind to do a swap to h22a jdm maybe auto to manual in the same time.

I´m from venezuela so here no problem with pass smog test or anything...

I search and find some good information but I still have some question...

since my car is obd2 it´s better to stay obd2 right?
or If I buy an obd1 engine all the connector (sensors) from my harness will fit in the engine obd1?

now I read that I can install jdm h22 obd2 engine but I need to find p13-a12 ecu with is very expensive and hard to find...

and the ecu from 97+ have the immobilizer...

the other think is the transmission I think the m2s4 transmission the 5th gear is shorter than the m2a4 or m2b4 from the obd1 h22 right?
(I don´t want to have rev the engine in long travel)

so the final and more important question´s are:

is better to buy an obd1 h22 engine and install in my accord obd2 with conversion harness and obd1 ecu?
I need to cut all the connector to fit the obd1 engine? or they are the same? I need to swap all sensor from my f22b1 engine to the h22a?
what ecu is the best for my swap?
I want to stay stock... no tune...

thank´s for all the help and sorry for my english...

It's really going to be a mess concerting that to a manual car and obd1 at the same time which you already are planning to do. That's probably going to be your best bet 'though.

Just go obd1 with the manual swap. You can just go with the obd1 p13 ecu.

thank you for your answer...

ok then it`s better to go with obd1 h22 manual transmission swap with obd1 p13 ecu with conversion harness right?

and the sensors in the h22 obd1 engine will be the same connectors that I have in the car harness right now? Or I need to change the connector?

The engine wiring harness will be a plug and play pretty much with a few connectors extended or just unloom some of them, so they can reach their sensors. Nothing major. If you're gonna convert to OBD1, you'll need the following:

-OBD1 P13 or P28/P72 chipped ECU
-OBD1 Distributor (Distributor wiring will need to be modified)
-OBD1 H22 Injectors (Peak & Hold)

When you're ready to get it tuned, just call your local shop and get a date setup to go in. To be honest, stick to a '97+ H22 to match your '96 Accord for wiring simplicity. But if you're going with OBD1, you'll have to modified the distributor wiring to work with a OBD1 distributor.
