blower fan able to come on with key out /plus TCS & ABS light on
Hey guys i found a few posts on here about blower fans still running after the key has been taken out of the ignition so today i will check the blower relay ...
I have a 2001 honda accord v6 model .
First all i did was change a few LEDs in the climate control module (the ones that light up the fan speed **** ) ..when i did that i must have blew a fuse cause nothing in the central dash unit worked then so i found the fuse on the driver side ..replaced it and that fixed that problem ..
Then my key fob stopped working so i found another fuse blown on the passangerside (clock backup was the name of it ) so i replaced that and that fixed the key fob problem and all the leds work in the climate control and everything appeared to be back to normal.
PROBLEM : But then i noticed my Abs and Tcs lights are constantly on only when i have the grey 8 pin connector plugged into the heater control module ANDwhen its plugged in i can turn the fan on with the car completely off!!
How could changing a couple LEDs cause anything like this ?? Im an electrician by trade and it makes no sense .. and i checked what was visible on the wiring harnesses behind the module and clock and they seem to look fine.
Did anybody else have the tcs and abs lights on with the blower fan problem ??
Everything worked on the car perfectly until i replaced 1 burntout led..
Today i will check the blower motor relay and by "ac relay " do you mean the "ac comp clutch relay " ?? If not where is this " Ac relay "?
I do have the Haynes manual so i have the wiring diagrams

Hey guys i figured out the problem was with the climate control module ...
I went to the auto wrecker and found a few cars like mine. Tried a different module and everything works perfectly..
Had to find a third one that matched the trim in my specific car and it worked too !! Put all good LEDs in it and its all 100% now .
So obviously the wiring is these cars are pretty interconnected and make junctions at weird places ( i guess wherever they can )
Tcs and abs lights coning on from a bad climate control module is kinda weird .
