I have a friend who must replace the driver's side mirror assembly. To select the correct matching part, one must know the exterior paint color code. My question is "where are the interior and exterior color codes stamped on the car"?

With the VIN# we can get the paint code....barring that, there is a sticker on the door jamb with a bar code and a lot of info. The center of the very bottom should be the paint code. It will be one of the following:
B536P
NH578
NH700M
NH737M
R530P
G530M
NH603P
NH731P

If it is just the mirror that needs replacing, it does not come with the "skull cap" (painted part). These are ordered separately. HTH

Are you able to glean the color code from the VIN?

When I enter the VIN at hondapartsunlimited.com, it doesn't to seem to know the car color (as in doesn't identify which specific skull color to buy).

Another question Steve -- Are you able to post the service manual diagrams showing how to remove and replace the mirror assembly for this 09 Accord sedan? Aan I assume that removal involves first prying out the inside tweeter cover, similar to the Civic?
