Anyone know why? Nothing works when key is turned to acc1, but when key is turned to acc2, radio, dash lights, etc come on...

Car is a '90 crx hf.

 

Off-hand, I don't know what is supposed to work in that position. Just the radio???

Regardless, if you know what is supposed to work in that position, let's call it "operation1". If "operation1" does NOT work in acc1, but DOES work in acc2....I think it's safe to say that the key switch is going bad. If so, atleast it's not acc2 that stopped allowing power through. If acc2 goes out, I am pretty sure the car won't run.

 

I'm not sure what's supposed to work in that position because I bought the car the way it was. I'm guessing, radio and cigarette lighter?
