Default Type R header on crx si exhaust problem

I threw on a type r header and my exhaust is too short to reach the flange on the header. What exhausts are Bolton ready for the header?

Define "type r" header?

What engine is in the crx?

I was wondering how you got a type r header on a D series, lol.

I'd just measure how much too short it is, then bring the mid pipe to an exhaust shop and have them weld in however much you're short.

Unless you can do it yourself.

Much cheaper than trying to buy one made for that application, and I'm not sure there is one made for that application. There are so many possible engine/exhaust configurations that I don't see how it would be logical/cost effective for companies to make different vehicle exhausts based on what engine and header are in it.

An exhaust made for the car will fit the chassis fine. It only depends on what engine is in the car. Just like the ops problem. Some you will need to extend and also may need to rotate the flange so they match up also.

If it's a JDM type r header, it will be a different length than a usdm type r. The reason is the different length cats needed for the different markets. You could just get a custom midpipe made at a local exhaust shop for ~$50 or so. Then it will fit perfect.
