Radiator replacement gurus
Hello so my cheap autozone radiator decided to spring a leak on my 1997 honda accord ex auto almost a year after replacement. The main problem I had when doing the replacement is that the motor on the cooling fan on the passenger side will hit the ac suction hose/pipe whether I had the fans attached or not. Anyone got tips on jimmying these in and out without breaking the ac line by bending it? I'm almost half tempted to buy a 12" slim fan to make things easier.

Remove the condenser fan first then move the radiator cooling fan over into the middle. Also remove the top radiator mount bolts the move the radiator forward a little.
You can also just unbolt the fan, leave it in place and pull the radiator out leaving the fan(s) in the engine bay.

unbolt the ac line bracket.. move it up and out of the way, that will give you room to pull the fan up and out.. then you can easily slide the other fan over as well..
pretty easy to do. the lower bolts just need to be loosened to remove the fans unlike the top ones that need to be removed

i second what 92 civic said. It's easiest to remove the condenser fan. You'll have to get the two lower bolts from underneath. I actually just remove both fans. Then it'll just slide right out. Leave the lower hose connected to the radiator til after you remove it. Just remove it from the thermostat assembly in the back. Remove the lower hose and radiator together.
