Here's a question for HT. Looking for this hood visor/bug deflector (or whatever you may call it) for the 96-98 civic. Anyone know where I would be able to find this. ie; brand, name, etc. Inputs are much appreciated.

*Also looking for some clear round foglights for 96-98 civic. cant find any -____-

It may be an 96-98 EGR Hood deflector (since 96-98 and 99-00 have different front ends)
But with the OP being banned, it could be bullcrap info. I checked EGR's site and the only 96-98 vehicles in the dropdown were Accords (probably discontinued)

There's even a Carflector brand (autozone according to NOFX but it stretches over the headlights)

I'm familiar with the old thread, and also tried looking through EGR. no luck either :/
& as for the Carflector brand. thats exactly the one i dont want haha. My other option was the just the oem hoodbra. i suppose i'll settle for that.

but as for the round clear lens foglights. Anyone know a place to get em? a brand? *no autozone.

 

Ah, I wish I could find more info on it but to the best of my Googling ability (lol) I couldn't.

That being said, I believe 99-00's OEM fogs are Raybrig, and common replica's are Depo.
If you want OEM clears, look for some Raybrig 96-98 sets.

Maybe im pushing it with this question but where would i find 96-98 brackets? maybe theres DIY bracket?

 

A bracket's a bracket piece of metal for mounting. You could fab it up yourself.
Or just get a secondhand one, or a cheap ebay foglight kit bracket.
or a secondhand cheap ebay broken foglight and take the brackets etc;

 

I haven't noticed the OE brackets for sale through Honda ever. You'd have to ghetto rig them yourself.

As I understand it, the later-sold '96-'98 foglights actually used the '99-'00 style foglights, just with the '96-'98 mounting hardware and brackets. The foglight lenses themselves appear different though. I can't remember the exact difference, but I think Eran might have had the '99-'00 look assemblies (OE) on his '97 Civic. Not sure if he's still on here though, but I'm sure you could find plenty of photos of his red hatchback.
