Anyone know of a good "reasonable" shop to redo paint and body work in San Diego area?

YES! That place does excellent work AND customer service. I was surprised of how well they did a WHOLE car paint job. That was two years ago and the car still looks like it just came out of the shop! I'm not playing around. Macco never lasted that long.

 

My paint is about 8 years old and counting...still looks like when if came out the shop

There are plenty of good shops out there but they aren't cheap.

 

are you going through insurance, or out of pocket?

I was looking at Carcoa...this is out of pocket, trying to make my car new again.

Then after the paint job I was looking to cover her up with some Opti-Coat 2.0.

 

I don't know much about paint but what does this "opti-coat 2.0 do? What is the process and how much do paint shops charge? Thanks
