alright well I bought this ef its a 1990 si
clean title nice red paint
not original red tho well anyways I bought it for 1000 dollars!!
it has a ls b18a1 in it that is no good. it starts but ticks and smokes
so will be swapping that out asap.

has a good suspension setup will post pics of that tomorrow.
motor is being swapped tomorrow.



paint and body is in good shape little dings on body not noticeable

I love that color. Is that "Milano Red" that they used on my 1993 Acura Integra GS-R?? I want my EF painted an awesome RED like this one or a blue of similar awesomeness..lol

motor is in
starts sounds ok
but pulley is hitting on the bottom so need a smaller one and appears to have a vaccum leak somewhere I think
when I give it gas it just bogs out and turns off

throwing codes 6 8 and 13

ect sensor
tdc sensor
and baro sensor

yeah the pulley hits the traction bar driver side

I heard I need a ctr one ? or I can modify this one
the bad motor I had in it was modified to fit so I might just swap em

 

You can mod it. my buddy did the same thing

 

i got the three codes off but now only marks map sensor.
the car was turbo'd before so they got it different im sure if any of u have been turbo befor u know what im talkin about

but other than that the car starts idle is at about 1500
and when given gas don't rev it just wants to die until it finally shuts off

hoping just a vaccum leak any ideas?

 

cant find vaccum leak tried spraying carb fluid and nothing
will rev up to like 3000 and anything higher will just cut off and want to shut off
code still reading map sensor

it blinks 3 and 5
which the list I got it both says map sensor


need help anyone?

 

it was doing the same thing with the old motor when I drove it. so I know its not the motor.
I did use the same intake manifold tho.

 

oh and tps sensor and map sensor are not switched already checked
