no blow in my 1989 Civic si hatchback
One week after I purchased my 1989 Honda Civic si hatchback, the motor blower went out and I have no heat! That, and a stubborn winter that won't go away means time to replace things.
Making the 'assumption' it was the blower motor, I went to Autozone and purchased one. Took about an hour to get the old one out, and when I finally did I connected the new one and turned the key to test it before putting everything back together......NOTHING!!
I then thought "Okay, it may be the switch on the dash that went bad." To be sure, I also removed the resistor and eyeballed it, and it looked toasty but somewhat intact. Back to Autozone I go!
They had the resistor, but not the blower switch, which I think is the main problem anyway. After installing the resistor, I turned the key.....NOTHING!!

I ordered the blower switch which won't come in for a couple days. Wait....wait.....wait.
Am I missing anything? I would think that when the blower motor fails to operate it could be one of four things....1) bad fuse, 2) bad blower motor, 3) bad resistor or 4) bad blower switch. I checked all the lines and they looked good.
Your comments and personal experiences are much appreciated.
