Lets try to get 10 ITR's to this!!!!!

Eibach will be hosting a benefit track day with Chuckwalla Valley Raceway on May 3rd to help raise funds for my good friend and Eibach's R&D Manager, Phong Diep. Phong was in a terrible cycling accident over the Thanksgiving holiday and suffered severe head trauma and is still slowly recovering. Let's help Phong by having some fun on the track while donating to a good cause!

If you would like to register for the event you can sign up by paypaling $125 to paypal@eibach.com with your name, contact info, car details and driving level. All net proceeds will go to Phong and his family. We do plan to raffle off Eibach and other products for people that preregister.

I'm sorry to hear that about your co-worker.

It looks like this is about 8 hours from norcal. Can you recommend any places to stay nearby the track? Also any idea on format of this event? is it 2-3-4 group etc?

 

You'd probably want to look in the Palm Springs area. We'll post more info shortly.

 

Sorry to hear about about your co-workers injuries. I hope he has a full recovery very soon.

 

The event should have plenty of open space so we might just do 2 or 3 run groups from intermediate to advance. I'm trying to organize this on top of my regular work load and not sure if I'll have the time or patience to track down people willing to instruct.

The track itself is very safe with lots of run off. Palm Springs is your best bet for hotels. It's a pretty quick drive from Palm Springs to the track.

We also have donations from numerous companies to throw into the raffle for people that preregister. This should be a really fun, relaxed event that will support a good cause!

 

This is a great event and I hope it does well. I am going to see if I can get Friday off and get a co-driver.

Andy Hope from Circuit Monsters came by today and dropped of some of their Circuit Monsters swag for the event. We'll be giving out a t-shirt and decal for the first 10 sign ups. Those of you that have already signed up will be taken care of.

Just three weeks before the event! We have two ITRs signed up so far and two civics. Who else is coming?

Favor: Does anyone mind bringing a few extra pop up chairs? Storage is limited at my apt so I didn't bring any out here during the move.

Just wanted to say thanks for the support today. We raised a good amount of money that will help with Phong's medical expenses. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did. That was an awesome track and I don't think you could have asked for more track time.
