Have a 99 CR-V & the key won't come out of ign.

 

Jack your steering wheel left and right real hard.

 

put it in park

 

Same thing happened to my 99 crv and was told needed a new ignition module. Didnt want to pay for one so left key in ignition and used my spare to lock and unlock my doors. Did that for about a year then bought a new crv.

 

my 00 crv's key was stuck in it for a week and all of a sudden it started working fine again..kinda odd I hear this is a common problemo with crv 97 01
