With a car as nice as that youd be incredibly stupid not to secure that man. Sorry for the loss man

That's a shame man, I wish you luck but your best chance will be the cops, not us. I'm glad I live in a small town where its easy to locate stolen property.

Pretty much nothing you can do to prevent your car from being towed in public.

Bummer...I know the feeling, Im a victim as well. I had kill switches on my stolen car and thought that was good enough (naive much...), been over a year and car still hasnt shown up, and probably never will. I have since taken proper measures to really make it a pain in the *** on whomever wants to attempt to take it.
Good luck with the recovery of it.

Stop reinforcing this nonsense. Your job as a car owner is to make the car as difficult to steal as possible and keep the thieves in the car as long as you can so they get busted. Kill switches? C'mon. Nothing there to alert you if the car is being moved? A real 2-way paging alarm? Tilt switches? GPS tracking if the car is actually towed?

To invest all that money into the car and then skimp out on security is just not smart.

Where did I say that? Don't imply or try to infer anything in what I wrote because I ALWAYS say exactly what I mean.

I'm referring to this bullshit that "if they want it they will get it". So does that mean you might as well not even put security on your car? If the answer is yes then people are dumber than I thought.

Do you think he'd have his car if it was more difficult to steal? If he was able to track it wherever it was RIGHT NOW? If there was something to alert him that someone was messing with his car?

Chill guys. It's just my fault for not getting GPS and the whole 9 earlier.
The funny thing is I bought a viper 2 way last thrusday and didn't have the money to install it. So I was waiting for Friday to get paid... Didn't happen I guess.
And Grumps right. He's been on HT long enough to see a lot of these stories.
If my Ek doesn't show up in 5 days. I know it's been chopped up.

I've never seen your car in the LBC but I will def keep an eye out for stuff. Stories like these is why I don't like taking my car out at all, even with GPS, etc installed. Hope it all works out for you, man.
