1996 honda accord lx help!!!
i have a engine (f22b2) and a transaxle (p2u5) i'm going to put in my 1996 honda accord lx 2.2 5-speed MT but i got to looking at it, and the rear engine mount is the vacuum assisted mount that you usually find with the automatic transaxles only, and i ran my vin through a vin decoder and it said my car came with a standard 5 speed transaxle. I was wondering why this vacuum assisted mount can even bolt up at all and is there a mount i can buy for this that will actually fit my frame? Or is there a MT mount that is vacuum assisted also? I need help please!
You bought it with a manual, but it has the vacuum assisted mount? Regardless the rear, belt side, and front mounts are identical between our 5th gen Accords both manual and auto. The only difference between the manual and auto mounts is the manual mount is much longer to compensate for the more shallow skinny manual transmission.
