I have the Rivals in 205/50/15 on my R...I'm extremely pleased with them.

In a 15" you have two choices (only one unless you're sporting a 8" or wider wheel). Otherwise, 16" and 17" choices blow for the ITR.

16'' tire selections have always been slim and grossly over priced. Most purchasing tires in this category are buying 15'' anyway.

The Dunlop "new star spec" offers a 215/40/17, which isn't a bad size for an ITR (and it's a very wide 215).

Bridgestone still offers the 205/45/16 in the RE-11. Falken makes the 215/45/16 in their Azenis.

Maybe it's only the Japanese designed tires/brands still offering the ITR-sized diameter in 16 and 17" molds.

I just bought a set of these. Tirerack has them down to $158 a tire. I considered buying some 15" wheels since they will still clear the brakes and saving money on tires along with having more options... but the TE37SL's I want are way out of my price range lol.

I'm fairly aware of tire offerings in this category: Link

16'' tire prices have just gotten silly. It's a leading reason by I sold my last set of 16''s in 2009. I currently have a set of RE-11's in 205/45/16 that I bought used for a good deal from a friend. Once the tires are spent I'l sell the complete wheel package.

GRM is doing a series of tests as we speak:
