Default How do you remove doors from 91' accord?

I got some body damage on 2 of my doors from the previous owners. I found where I can get some junked ones but I am a little confused on how to take them off and on. I think I see 5 or 6 bolts holding them on but there's also the electrical wire that holds them on.

I'm stumped.

If someone has some experience or knowledge about this, please let me know.

Thanks.

And another question. Will the 94-97 Accord doors work as well?

Its really the wiring harness that is getting me. The bolts seem very straightforward. I don't know how to unhook the wire harness.

pretty sure your gonna have to remoe the door panels and just unplug the wire harness, as far as the 94-97 accord doors fitting on your 91, no.

The connector will either be inside the door (disconnect and push the harness and the gasket through the hole) or it'll be inside the gasket where the harness comes out of the body, you'll just have to look.

After disconnecting the harness:

-Unbolt the door stop from the body. It's that metal arm in the bottom of the third pic.

-Unbolt the hinges from the door

*Be sure to have someone hold the door while you unbolt the hinges so you don't bend anything or strip a bolt or bolt hole.*

Thanks a lot that helped. Got the wire unhooked from the rear door and all figured out, but i tried getting to the front door and was not able to. The quarter panel (or whever you call it) covers the bolts and the wiring harness of the door. I tried for an hour to get the panel off but I couldn't. I think I was missing one of the last bottom bolts. Plus the right turn signal light seemed to get in my way.

The Honda manual couldn't tell me how to remove the panel either, does anyone know how?

There should be 2-4 bolts alone the top, 1-2 on the bottom, and 1-2 in the front behind the bumper.

It turns out the rear doors on the wagon are bigger than the coupe/sedan doors by a 1/4 inch. Just got back from the pick n pull and tried out this door and it didn't fit quite right.
