do we have a lowering spring thread??
If not, post up! I'm thinking of switching to springs and shocks as I'm sick of coilovers here in NYC. they are great when I leave town, but as soon as I cross a bridge to get back here I get sick to my stomach. If you can include brand and the lowering amount that would be great.
Eibach 1.8 sport lines I'm going to coils soon to go lower but overall these ride awsome ive had them for about a year on stock struts. also had eibach springs on my old car to.

I am on a set of buddy club N+, the struts are set in the middle at 8 clicks. was thinking about going all the way soft but I'm not sure how good that is for the setup.
the budget it about 5-600 bucks, koni yellows are $400 and most of the springs i'm looking at are around 150-200
this is how i sit now on 205/40/16

i pretty much want the same ride height on springs.

To slam the car like that, you need to be stiff. If you want a softer ride, you'll need a higher ride height. Bottoming out the suspension from trying to ride too low for the spring rates won't produce a favorable ride quality.
That is borderline "slammed"
His points aren't wrong regardless of what your interpretation of slammed is.
You're going to need rates that support the reduced suspension travel you're going to have at that height to maintain a reasonable ride quality.
I know this from personal experience, I'm pretty low on 350/350 rates and my ride suffers because of it.

I'm on H&R race/Koni Sports and they put me right about where yours is now. You probably don't want to hear this, but the best thing you could do to improve the ride is just raise it a half inch.

i'm going to install my new wheels and tires first and then make a decision from there. something tells me that I'm going to need to be able to play with my ride height upon trying to squeeze 15x8 +36 with 225/45/15's
Ya I'm about 2in all around perfect height thought about going lower due to wide wheels but really not worth it I wouldn't be able to go anywhere north Idaho sucks
