Edit didn'st see you said "rep" save money purchase real deal lip so you won't have to worry about crappy fitment.

Unfortunately you are correct sir.

 

That is so far the most expensive front lip ive found, is there ones out there that cost more? maybe but not that ive seen. And i personally dont have a problem buying rep for a front lip, the one i have now is and it looks and fits just fine, i just need to paint it. Also im not a huge fan of carbon fiber, so if i got that first molding front lip i would want to paint it also. just my opinion.

 

Why would you not have a problem with that? This is the stuff that takes away from the scene and diminishes the supply of real parts. I called Mackin Industries a couple months ago and 16x7 high premium bronze re30s are no longer available. That's cus there isn't as much of a demand for them because people buy the fake ****. Years ago people only bought real stuff cus they didn't have replica brands.

 

well i got rota grids because they look as good as te37 and they didnt cost me 3K, i like that, and there doing the same job for me. same goes for a front lip, i dont wanna pay $650 for a carbon front lip because i dont like the look of carbon and they dont make it in anything else, i love the shape of that lip but thats about the extent of it.

 

People don't understand that it costs a lot of money to do this. It's one thing to say about the money but saying that rota grids look just as good as Te37s is going too far. But whatever suits you I suppose.

 

Ok maybe not as good as TE37's, but im happy my rota's. if i could afford volks i would have bought them, but those are way out of my price range for a set of wheels.

And i get that fixing up cars cost money but its all about whats important to you the owner in what area you want to spend your cash, and me personally would rather spend the big bucks on the parts that are functional, like coilovers and not a $650 front lip.

 

op should stop buying fake **** and support original genuine companies. you can always point out fake parts from real.

 

btw no one says you have to spend 3k+ on volks. there are tons for sale used in mint condition that can be had for less than 2k. honestly how much were your grids with tires after all said and done?
