I just got a GSR longblock for my 00 Civic SI. Now i know the intake manifold is boltup is different between the B16A2 and the B18C. But what about the exhaust?

I've heard they are the same.. If that's true do i just get a header for a 00 Civic?

If the bolt pattern on the B18C head is different than that of the B16A2, what in the world do i get? Do they make Headers that fit a B18C and the Civic at the same time?

 

The gsr head has a different bolt pattern on the intake side
Exhaust is the same as si and type r

 

Get a header for the b18c because it will bolt up directly but you might have to make alittle modification down by the cat and support parts of the header so it all flows correctly. Like maybe a small flex pipe to the cat and might have to weld the bracket that is used for support on the header (if has one) to the chassis. Just look into it alittle more, do some good research.

 

The bolt pattern for the exhaust manifold is identical for all b series heads. The difference is that the 1.8 motors have a taller deck; a b16 header may not clear the oil pan.

Thanks for all the responses guys. So since in not in the immediate market to buy a Header, i can run my b18c (i bought it from hmotors, so it came with a downpipe ) stock exhaust manifold, right up to my OEM cat?
