Default 97 Civic Climate control removal

Hey guys I looked at the diagram in the stickied section but I got stuck at one step. Took out the hazard and rear defrost buttons and pretty much got the climate control out but there's one cord holding it on and there's no connector to unplug.

Here are some pictures. The black cord is what i'm wondering about

That is the cable to move the air blend doors. Follow where the bottom end of the cable goes and unhook it from there.

It should be under the the left side of the glove box. There is a small clip you have to undo and then you just slide the wire off.

black cable is connected to a pin down below, just slide it down and it should pop off.

Under the.glowbox by the floor vent. There will be a metal part with that cable hook to it. Just slip it out.

Thanks guys got it off and put it back on, apparently I didn't slip it through the right hole so there's not enough slack to fully go cold so i'm gonna have to go back there again haha
