2002 Accord hard start when parked outside in cold
Wife drives a 2002 Accord EX 4 cyl, 85K miles.
When the car is parked inside the garage at home it starts normally
even when the air temp in the garage is single digits (F).
When she visits family she parks the car outside.
On cold mornings, say 20F, she has to tap the gas pedal once or twice to
start the car. Or, if she holds the key in position 2 for a few seconds
before starting it helps.
What would cause the hard start when parked outside?
Moisture in the air?
Fuel pump, fuel relay, sticking throttle plate???
