I have recently bought a 1991 honda civic and I have been having a lot of trouble with the wiring. Who ever had the car before did some rewiring. And they did a terrible job. So I am trying to do it right this time. I wanted to get it all back to original wiring. I finally got it all done and I ran into some problems.

1. The blinkers don't work. And the hazards don't work. I turn them on and there is no dash lights for the blinkers and the blinkers lights don't work. The CEL is always on and it goes off if I turn the blinkers on.

2. The break lights don't work. The running lights all work but when I press on the break pedal nothing happens.

Currently the is no stereo at all in the car. And all the fuses are good. I could not find a good manual on my car that said anything about this problem. I could use all the help I can get.
