Hey guys,


So I got an ITR s80 tranny with the LSD with about 130xxx km's. I recently changed the fluid about 5k km's ago and used Honda MTF and now 3rd and 5th gear grind when I do hard pulls or shifting from a low gear to high gear. Can anyone recommend which fluid I should use instead of the Honda MTF? I will be rebuilding the tranny in the summer hopefully but until then I was hoping to just to a fluid change so it wouldn't grind as much.

Also it's the ITR motor with just some simple bolt ons
Exedy stage 1 clutch and a super light flywheel (don't know how heavy) but the car revs faster than any other car I've driven or seen

The honda mtf should work fine. Its time for the trans to be rebuilt. the more you grind it the more its going to cost to rebuild properly.
