5th gear popping
Recently my 5th gear has been popping
At first I thought it was the clutch fluid that was low so I filled it
But that wasn't the problem
What can it be? Synchros? help.
Thanks in advance

Transmission fluid or brake fluid(goes in the Clutch MC). did you change it properly then bleed it if it was the MC
well the brake fluid was empty I had my mechanic do it so I'm guessing he did it right
But he didn't check the tranny fluid
And by bleeding the fluid what exactly do you mean? I'm new to this stuff

Getting any air out of the line(s) just like you would do with the coolant. Tranny fluid you should be able to check you'r self there should be a little stick(like you'r oil stick) on the tranny.
Generally popping out of 5th is caused by low transmission fluid.
There is no dipstick. Take the fill plug out and stick your finger in to check the level, obviously this needs to be done on level ground. If it's low (which I can almost guarantee you it is) add fluid until it runs out the fill hole. You will need a transmission funnel for this unless you take out the VSS and fill it through that hole (you still need to take the fill plug out to check the level)
