Ive searched google and have yet to find a for sure answer to my question.This is my first actual build I have never been into hondas i have a d15b7 with the y7 head 60000 on the head everything is stock on the car its a 1995 sedan. My friend has a 96 d16y7 hatch atleast that is what i was told i have yet to seen or drive the hatch and from what im told it has a different trans in it he knows nothing about cars at all so i dont know if its the ex or si which i know is a good trans it has no bolt ons or other mods which one straight up will have more power ive read threads over and over and alot of the cars on here have mods im just wanting to make sure I do a good trade straight up and dont get ripped off?

 

Its not worth the swap...you might stand to gain 5hp between the two. Save your money for something worthwhile

 

Hes wanting to trade actual vehicles.
Mostly im just into the hatches and with my stereo it would make it alot easier to deal with working on it his is also two tone not sure

 

Car preference aside, the powertrains are not much different. Next time, try to write in coherent sentences rather than a string of babble...its hard to read
