Rev Limiter Early Actuation
OK so i have a 94 Honda Accord Ex (f22b1) the engine was just rebuilt along with the transmission, and only mods i have done to it are cold air intake and different exhaust.
So the problem is it hits the rev limiter at 5,000-5,500 and its not putting out any codes.
only thing i can think of that we haven't touched on the car is ECU,Catalytic converter and fuel pump but im not sure what to check for.
this seems to be a common problem with these accords so any advice?

Mine does the same thing. But the problem is the tach, not the rev limiter. Check your revs against your highway speed and see if that might be your issue.
According to my tach/speedo I can do over 90 in 4th (auto) at 3000 rpms. No way.

good point i thought about that but didnt really check because my speedometer dosent work but the speedsensor is fine its just the dash so it could be something like that
