Default 1992 honda engine swap

Would a 2005 honda accord vtec motor be a possible swap for a 1992 honda accord?

Pretty much no. Unless you have a lot of time, a ton of money. Yet I still say no.

Even with this mount kit from Innovative Mounts? it's less than $500. pretty reasonable I'd say.

OP: just keep your expectations realistic. it will be expensive, but not nearly as labor intensive as having to design and develop a mount kit for the swap. with the kit and the motor/trans, you'll still need K-pro i think to run it in an older chassis, axles (custom if you can't find pre-made swap axles), shift linkage (may not be too bad, they're both cable type) and varrious other adapters and custom bits.

i'd say, if you've done some of the more popular swaps before (B series into Civic, H series into Accord) with success and it's no problem for you to pay full price for a full K swap (not that you should, but what you save there you'll need for something else unforseen later...) then certainly it's possible. should be a blast to drive too!

Oh, and FYI there is a specific sub-forum for questions of this nature. the Hybrid forum. it has nothing to do with gas/electric technology...
