Help me pick a turbo for the mystery engine:
Ok guys, im trying to help my brother piece together a turbo for his car...
here are the specs on the engine:
Type : Inline four, aluminum
block and head
Valvetrain : DOHC, four valves per cylinder, VTC variable intake cam timing.
Displacement : 2488cc
Bore & Stroke : 89.0mm x 100.0mm
Compression Ratio : 9.5:1
Horsepower : 175 hp at 6000 rpm
Torque : 180 lb-ft at 4000 rpm
Redline : 6100 rpm
Given the compression etc, which would be beneficial? T3t4b? e? 60-1? etc etc
extra points to those that can identify the engine..... i just dont think that the make and model of the care is relevant, the engine is

How much power are you looking at producing?
I woudl suggest a T3/T04E. If you want a nice street turbo, I woudl pick the following:
.63 A/R
Stage III
.60 A/R
57 Trim or 60 Trim
You can make ~300-350 whp with this turbo and still have great response. It woudl be a great street turbo.
