Not seeing any pinched wires anywhere I was careful when doing this as to not mess it up however my battery was connected at time of uninstall/reinstall it did blow a fuse is it possible a backwards fuse would do this?
I tried reversing fuse and did nothing at all I also noticed when I removed the fuse it shot straight up to hot so lost here I do not understand how it could work with no fuse
The gauge has fine copper strands. If you break it the gauge will always max out. You might have to find a used cluster and replace the gauge. The gauge is usually held on by 3 screws, and one is shorter than the other 2 and if you put the screws on wrong, the copper strand will break.

Okay I know what your talking about now where it plugs in those are all fine as well still need to look at coils haven't had a chance yet
Is it possible electricity could ruin sensor if so how would I check it also if coils were broken would it ever return to cool when not turned on
If it does that, then you have a short in the ground wire leading from the sending unit to the gauge. You will need to trace this circuit to find the short. Start by pulling the wire off the sending unit and work from there.
