Ok so I recently did a swap in my 99 sir , sir head b20b bottom but now my cars puffing blue smoke and burning large oil cyl#1 60psi now I determined. It's the rings , so I'm planning on buying a 100% healthy motor from teknotik in Toronto but I'm stock on if I should build it or leave it stock

Ac is deleted

Here's my bolt ons I have:

Aem 3" cai
Blackworks intake manifold
Hytech big tube headers*
Str throttle body
Hi flow cat 2.25*
P28 b20 vtec basemap*
Slim fan and rad*
Greddy catch can setup ported to valve cover
Blox coolant overflow tank
Yonaka stage3 clutch
Mishimoto fan switch*
Type r oil pump
Type r water pump

 

leave the new engine stock, and rebuild the one thats in now

 

The other bottom is getting scraped it was bad from day 1 we determined , I'm only keeping my head and buying another b20b bottom

 

What trans do you have ? might be a good time to get a new one while the engine is out again(unless you used you'r SiR one).
