Default Swapping Engines

Would I be able to swap a 5th gen DX motor into a 4th gen si if I change the manifolds and wiring and use the si tranny and drive axels? I need to make my winter car run and the si engine has been overheated and has over 200,000 miles, the DX ran fine and only had 80,000 miles.

it should work fine if you swap the electronics from the si to the dx.

yes
u gotta use ur 4G engine mounts..... use the 5G exhaust manifold, use ur SI intake manifold, use ur stock harness, engine, shift linkage, basically the only thing u need its the block+head+exhaust manifold (unless u got headers)... the rest its the same thing ur car has...... ur SI has "108 stock" and the DX has 106... dont think u will be loosing a lot of power....
