Default steering wheel is not straight when driving

okay so i bought a 96 accord ex sedan and the first thing i noticed when i drove it is the steering wheel is not aligned perfectly to the wheels, meaning the steering wheel sits a little to the right even though the car drives straight it even pulls to the left HARD when i let go of the steering wheel, ive been told its my alignment but i highly doubt it, i recently bought 2 new front tires and now its even worse, any ideas on what i need to do to fix this? i think its the steering wheel column but how do i check and is it expensive to fix?

If the toe is equal from left to right, then it is caster. The steering column is nothing more than a shaft. Have the alignment checked, a proper four wheel alignment to verify thrust angles would be best.
