Is it possible for a 97 GSR to run a 9.39 in the 1/8 mile with only I/H/E. I ran the same thing and I have a jdm itr tranny with exedy clutch and spoon flywheel. The dude says his car was stock besides those bolt ons but he ran the same e.t. and mph as me!

 

i don't know maybe my automatci ls ran a 10.8 on the 1/8 and i had a reaction time of 1.5. Assuming if i had perfect R/T that would shave of a sec and put the 1/8 at 9.8 so it may be possible.

ET starts AFTER you trip the light.

nope he was not spraying....i just cant figure it out

 

my stock GSR w/ 145K does a 10.1 @ 71 mph at an "instant green" strip. I imagine that the instant green has something to do with me not being in the 9s, as I always pop the clutch out too fast. Which is why my 60' times are around 2.4s. But, a stock LS that was there ran a 10.12 @ 69, if that helps

 

yeah its possile..my friend has I/h/E on his 97GSR and ran a 9.3 in tha 1/8
at a track in Albany,Ga last Sunday..............

 

After a beating myself to death about this, I asked around and it does seem that he has stock internals. I give it up to him, he must have been one hell of a driver! Hey josh, tell him to teach me how to drive my car!

chips teggy is the holy grail of cars for all I am concerned. When I had my gsr he was the first person to break a 9.8 with it his skillz are for rizzel my shizzle. j/k

hey chip you need a metal wing and euro's and chrome wheels and then you will break the 8's (dont forget the led washer thingies)

 

when his car had just an intake it would walk on my gsr with I/H/E I can vouch for his power being real no cheap tricks at all (other than a stock type-r clutch) and remember fellaz its how you put your foot in it that counts. hahaha paul and chip.

nice! in my 1 wheel drive silvia with crap kumho 711's on 17" super heavy bling wheels at the crappy track with a crappy clutch on the crappy 2.4L truck engine I got a 2.3 sec 60' time first try! All of the people on the nissan board laughed at me. I am hoping for 2.0 with a new rear diff. and good tires. and sr20det!!!
