Blue Eibach Springs?
My team and I are trying to sort a 91 civic hatch for Chumpcar. The car we bought was an ex-SCCA autocross car. Competed in CSP, I believe. We were told the suspension was a developmental suspension, running some sort of adjustable tokico, blue Eibach springs and some other stuff. The car caught on fire years ago though, and thats how we picked it up. we rewired the car and put in a replacement motor and have been racing it, but with the downtime before our next race we decided it was time for a suspension overhaul. We are looking to replace the dampers, but was hoping to shed some light on the springs to make sure we buy a suitable damper.
What I know about the springs is they are a bright medium blue. They have Eibach emblem on them. I can find no part numbers. The top of the front is ground flat, all others are not ground. Appears to be a progressive design. I do know the car is very low and extremely stiff with very little suspension movement, even when racing. Car drives like a kart. In fact we are looking to raise it for better alignment settings. I will post photos soon, but was hoping someone may be able to she'd some light on these mystery springs
