1000 best thing you can do is save more for a motor swap or start building the block for boost if you want serious power

Grumblemarc has a good write up on what you can do. https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/guide-answer-common-question-just-bought-civic-how-do-i-make-faster-2915974/

For what? They won't add any power you will notice so why get them? makes no sense.

1. Sell current car
2. Buy 92-95 hatch or coupe
3. Swap for a b-series
4. Boost it
5. ?
6. Profit

You think? I hope you aren't in the habit of buying cars and not know what is under the hood.

Just a tip, when you add **** on to a car, the value you get back for it won't even be CLOSE to what you put into it. If you like the car, keep it. If not, get the car you want. If you want more power, swap or boost, that's the only 2 options. Bolt-ons don't do **** except make it sound good and look nice. Just swap it with a B!

Instead of being a smart ***, maybe you could clarify to all of us? Or explained what I have missed...?

It clarifies everything as far as the question you asked which was "What engine came in this VTI". Looks like it's just the EX equivalent here in the US.

Now if your question was supposed to be "What engine is in your car?" the OP isn't even sure.

IN ANY CASE...it doesn't matter WHAT engine is in it because bolt-ons won't do dick for it!!! So what difference does it even make?

Just saying. I'm not the one that wasn't sure. If someone asks me what I have under the hood I can tell them. Whether I just bought the car or have had it 10 years.

I think we've made our point clear. Swap in a bigger engine or boost it. Otherwise save your money.

Ok how do I tell what one it is? Remember I'm new to all this so I have no clue, what would you recommended boost or swap?
