We have a 2001 Honda Civic that we most recently had the Cam Sensor Replaced because the car just lost all power while driving down the Interstate. It gave the code for the Cam Sensor so that's what we replaced. Now the civic will run great first thing in the morning or whenever we first drive it, but if we were to turn it off and go somewhere and come back out the car will start fine, but then when I press on the accelerator the car will not go and almost acts like it wants to stall out. After waiting a few minutes and slightly pressing on the accelerator off and on, it will finally go back to normal. Problem is there has been a couple of time where I was getting ready to pull out into an intersection and wammy no gas. Any help is appreciated. But first thing in the morning or after long periods of where the car has not been used it runs fine the first time.
