so i spun a bearing in my y8 and picked up a non vtec zc block to replace it..
Trying to stay obd2 until ive got extra funds to go obd1.. figured out the head stud situation and bypassing knock and crank sensor..
What do i do about green sensor on back of the block? has to prongs sticking out of it?
is that a coolant sensor? do i need to run it? and if so none of my plugs fit it.. do i swap out one from y8 block?
and do i need to swap in y8 water pipe? heard people saying to do that.. is it necessary?
Any help will be much appreciated.. need to get this back on the road tomorrow

That's an OBD0 block. That's the thermo switch for the rad fan. Swap the waterpipe and thermostat housing over from the Y8 block and you can just leave it there to plug the hole. If you use the ZC waterpipe you'll need to extend the wires for the fan switch at the thermostat housing down to the back of the block and splice on the correct plug. It's easier to swap the waterpipe, plus the nipples for the coolant lines will be in the correct places for the Y8 IM.
