Running rich..?? ZC dohc
i just bought a 88 dx with a dohc zc with pg7 ecu. i cleaned the air intake valve and seams to be a lil better at idle it runs opt or rich 50/50 chance sometimes rpms go so low it shudders and dies. yet no matter what soon as i touch the throttle it goes rich. i know when im driving if i let off the throttle it goes back opt. 90% time. could my ecu be the problem. how do i tell if its a manual or auto ecu? thanks

PG7 is out of a DOHC D series Integra. It'll run the DOHC ZC perfectly fine.
Check your mechanical and ignition timing, check your TPS is calibrated correctly, and check your map sensor vacuum line is connected securely.

ok sorry i just getting back to this i had my icm go out on me.
plus it was parked 20 miles away but ive fixed that. now its throwing code 10 (Air Intake Temp Sensor). i went to auto parts stores lookin for air intake sencer for a si 90 civic. idk what all parts would interchange? i cant find one in auto parts stores. so i wanna try junk yard what can i use??

Are you sure the sensor is the issue? i'd test the harness to check the sensor is getting adequate voltage to the plug first. Have you downloaded the online manual? It'll help take you threw the steps for correctly diagnosing these codes.
Alternatively, i'm using an IAT sensor from an MPFI sohc OBD0 D series, so CRX HF, SI, ED civic SI, EX. You'll probably find that EG's and EK's may even use the same sensor. take your one in with you and make sure it plugs into the harness and then just take that one.

i still havent fixed this issue yet it seams to be running better so yea the harness may be my problem. i also noticed that on a 86-93 prelude and accords it seams to have the same sensor.
