Default How do you guys dress up the plastics?

I was wonder what everyone used and to how well it worked when trying to get the plastics back to looking good.

I hate how it looks when car plastics fade from the sun.

has anybody tried this stuff I found on amazon called Forever Black? Does it work well?

My father recently purchased a 2005 crv and the moldings were looking pretty chalky. A week later i stop by his house and they are a beautiful black. He went to autozone and they recomended turle wax trim restore in the green bottle. 6 months later the trim stoll looks mint with one treatment. So i gave it a try on my 98 crv and my 91 crx, best trim product i've ever used. I believe i paid $9 for the bottle, i highly recommend it.

Wow. Just the thing I need for my CRV's bumper. I hope there's some in stock in the local hardware store.

That stuff along with other similar products is just liquid silicone. It works great but plan on never being able to paint that trim in the future. If its rubber window trim then it's all good but I wouldn't use it on bumpers or side molding

Seriously? Peanut butter? I've called up all the hardware stores near here and they don't have trim restore available.

Peanut butter didn't work for my CRV's bumper. It just made me hungry.

most likley smooth and i have used it so if you want to unfade plastic try it and see the oil in the peanut butter will bring it back out works on most plastics but try a small spot on the bumper or whatever and see what it does like i said it has worked for me on interior parts and other things
