hey i have a major issue my other mechanic figure out.
its a 98 accord 4cyl auto.
has 126k on it

after coming back from vacation i was gone for a week i drove it the day i came back and now today while driving the car just shut off i came to a rolling stop with (door and trunk light, brake and srs light on the dash) but no check engine light.
so before driving any further went to mechanic he hooked it up to the computer and no codes.
while the car was on he pressed on the gas at about 3k to 4k rpm for a few seconds and when he let go of the gas the rpm went down and the car shut off again while just sitting still..
i got home tried to do the samething after an hour. came back out turned on the car and revved it on 3k to 4k and nothing . until a few minutes it was on i kept on doing it and then it shut off again. it happeneds when im pressing on the gas for a few seconds continuously .
