1996 accord lx

my 1996 accord lx is making a clunking noise when i shift gears. mostly it happens in 1st or 2nd gear. Is tghis a sign that the mounts need to be replaced or is it another issue? thanks!

Could be engine mounts, could also be shift linkage bushings.
