Default 2000 Honda Accord V6 EX Missfire Codes & P1399

Hi,

I have seen many posts on multiple forums in regard to a 2000 Honda Accord V6 EX (mine has 114000 miles) stalling on start. If I rev above 2 for a minute it will start. This problem happens every few weeks. Until yesterday I didn't get any codes. Now I have all 6 cylinder misfire codes as well as a random misfire code and a P1399 code. As I said before many people have posted this problem with same codes on different forums. There seems to be no definite solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When was the last time you changed your plugs? Make sure gap is correct. If plugs are newer and gap is correct it could be your ECM/PCM.

I don't know pretend to know a ton about cars. Enough to change my oil and do basic repairs... oil changes obviously done regularly but changing your rotors and stuff every 3 months I think is completely unnecessary.

OP- verify that the plugs were replaced, they are rated to last ~100K.....also to that, need to verify that the timing belt and that has been done....
