Hi all,
first question.
i have a UK pre facelift civic EJ9.
i have been given a set of EG civic knuckles.
the EG knuckles run 242mm discs where as my EJ9 ones run 262mm discs.
i want to use the EG knuckles so i can replace the lower ball joints and give them a lick of paint before i put them on my EJ9.
i have measured a few points here and there and both knuckles appear to be the same.
can anyone confirm if the EG knuckles will work on my EJ9 please.

 

Yes they will work, you just cant use the larger rotors and calipers that were on the EJ9.

 

Why do you want EG knuckles?

You'll have to change the brakes as well. Not to mention, i'm 99% sure the EG knuckles are shorter then EK. (someone correct me if i'm wrong)

 

I was thinking a ej was a 92-95 coupe. EK knuckles are 1/2" shorter and using a eg knuckle on a ek can cause a positive camber . I know because I have ek ex knuckles and brakes on the front of my eg.
