GOD DAMN those theives
It's ******* bullshit, I'm not one to curse but the bike I learned how to ride on, my first bike, '02 F4i, I sold to my good friend and it gets stolen 2 weeks later at his school. This is the second bike he's owned that has gotten stolen. His first bike was a '02 R6 and he had it only 4 months before he came back from class and found a pile of wires. This time, he only had the bike for 2 weeks and it got stolen during broad daylight, same as the last theft, in the late afternoon. God damned thieves. This pic was taken when he had his old bike and I was riding my last one. Ironic how both are stolen now.
damn, please tell me he had insurance. Also, proven fact, thefts are decreased over 60% if the bike is physically locked to something secure, but sometimes thats hard to do. Sorry to hear that man
i wasnt gonna get insurance on my bike......i was going to get powerguard.....if your bike is stolen and isnt recovered after 30 days, lol which it most likely wont. Powerguard will cut you a check for $5000 or up to the value of the bike. you pay a one time $400 and you're covered for as long as you own the bike, Regular insurance for me (20 years old) on that F4 would be out the ***.

suzuki just made it so no matter what, you dont have to have insurance....
Sorry to hear it buddy, but it seems there's a lesson to be learned. It's all about kryptonite fagedaboutit chains. That and small caliber firearms. Or your friend could be traditional and learn from the previous theft. Tell me he at least had a disc lock on and they picked the thing up. On college campuses its good to park the bikes up front near lots of people. Nobody can physically put the thing in a truck/van w/ attracting attention and a disc lock is very good protection for the money.

I totally agree. the xena disc lock w/ alarm is pretty kick ***, and it also serves a purpose, if you jump on your bike and forget to take a regular disc lock off, you might be in trouble, this way, if you get on your bike, it will go off and wont let you **** **** up, hehehhe
