function and form type 1....ball joint question
So I posted about what ball joints I needed to get for my FnF type 1's and was told on here that I should get stock ball joints.
The FnF ball joint was pulled out and come to find out where the ball joint is supposed to come out of the surrounding rectangular bracket it ended up being all one piece.
So as of now the stock ball joint won't work because that square piece is welded together.
I tried to google FnF type 1 ball joints and by the way it looks there isn't anybody that actually sells that part. Is there any type of ball joint that does fit? I thought about using stock control arms so I could use a stock ball joint but was told if I were to try that route that my camber would too far out.
Any suggestions?....I don't want to leave it as is being that I saw the ball joint that's on the car right now and it is definitely bad, which is mostly why my steering is way worse than it should be.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Upper ball joints correct? Call F&F. If that gets you no where, and it probably will in a hurry, the only option I see would be to replace the entire UCA.
update:
So I emailed f2autolife and they were telling me they don't sell the control arms or upper ball joint. I don't quite understand that, but here's the pics that I took today and maybe i'm wording this wrong. what do you all think and do you have any suggestions?

if you notice where the rubber joint is supposed to be inserted it is all one solid welded piece.....why FnF made them this way is beyond me, but I gotta figure a way to get this taken care of.
Being that I raised my car back up to a more feasible height would it be possible to use a stock control arm with stock bushing and still get the alignment in check?

In fact, this forum has a stickied thread specifically on this topic...
