hey guys...i need to know the total length of the shift linkage on a 88 crx with b16...i cut mine 1 5/8s like i read all over the place..but its still too long....so can someone just give me the length of thier linkage..so i can cut it to that exact length???please!!!!! my engine is running..but i cant drive it!!!! i need linkage!

 

when i rewelded my integra linkage, i took just under 3 inches out. i suggest about 2 and 5/8 inches removed, at the most--2 7/8.
