Default Hybrid D series transmission

I'm having some issues with what somebody suckered me into thinking was a '90 Si transmission.

When I got the tranny, the first thing I noticed was that it had a 21 spline input shaft and the markings said A000... I got screwed.

Today I cracked open the case to see how everything was, and everything looks like it's in great shape, I have some friends that work in a tranny shop next door to where I work, and they thought it looked pretty good too.... then I counted the teeth on the fifth and final drive gears.

5th gear came to .771 (27 and 35) ok, that's right on for either a DX or Si trans. but the final drive came to 3.722 (67 and 18) higher than even a DX (3.888)!!

So my questions,

Is the 1988 DX trans is suposed to have a higher ratio than 89-91, or do I have some weird hybrid or canadian version?

According to Mista Bone's website, the Si trans has larger bearings than the others, So If I got a hold of an 89-91 Si mainshaft (for the 20 spline input), countershaft (for the pinion gear), and ring gear, would they fit into my casing with my gearset?
I'm not really worried about the smaller bearings, I'll be running this trans with a basically stock D16A6. I can't find any good Si deals locally, and it costs too much to get an entire trans shipped, So I'm hoping i can find someone that will pull the tranny apart and just ship me the parts I need.

i haven't done any parts mixing (DX and SI parts), but i think you list everything you need.

you will need to check the input shaft clearance when you get the Si input shaft for your tranny case. just an FYI.

neverming. i shoulda read more carefully.

I didn't hear anything about 88 trannies having different gearing though.
The 89-91 parts should fit your tranny no problem

I might have the parts if you gonna need then.

I might have the parts if you gonna need them.
I might take you up on that if I can find out for sure if it's gonna work.
I'd also like to get an HF 5th gearset if anybody's got one laying around.
